FHSSA Partnership Initiative
FHSSA has launched a new initiative drawing public attention to the AIDS crisis regarding end-of-life care, developing more partnerships, and engaging American communities in active support of the partnerships. These partnerships have multiple success stories demonstrating the impact of hospice care in the partner regions in Africa.

Advocacy and Public Outreach
Advocacy is central to a sustained effort against HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases in Africa. While there are considerable efforts being marshaled towards prevention and treatment of people living with HIV/AIDS, there is scant attention being directed towards palliative care for the thousands of people who die daily.

Resource Development
FHSSA is proud to announce the launch of the Diana Legacy Fund.  This fund is the international vehicle for drawing attention from all sectors to the urgent needs of the dying in Africa.   The Diana Legacy Fund supports the mission of the FHSSA, whose goal is to bring comfort and relief to the dying, especially those in African countries hardest hit by the AIDS pandemic.

Technical Assistance
FHSSA is in the midst of compiling a list of possible candidates to be entered into our Loan Technical Expert Roster for short-term assignments providing Technical Assistance to our African colleagues.
